Training will be provided to upgrade driving licences should it be required.             <p id="isPasted"><strong>Corporate Fraud Support Officer&nbsp;</strong><br><strong>Full Time &ndash; 37 hrs per week&nbsp;</strong><br><strong>Grade 4 (&pound;25,989 to &pound;26,824) per annum</strong></p><p>The authority is responsible for delivering the Counter Fraud services for Preston City Council, Lancaster City Council and Fylde Council across a shared service and partnership agreement. this post will be based at Lancaster City Council, Town Hall, Dalton Square, Lancaster. This post will be a hybrid post based at Lancaster City Council, Town Hall, Dalton Square. Lancaster, with the expectation to operate across all three sites should the need arise.</p><p>We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, conscientious, and hard working who can demonstrate an ability to deal with members of the public, working as part of a small team with the ability to work on their own initiative.&nbsp;</p><p>As a Fraud Support Officer, you will focus on the administration of counter fraud work. This will involve processing allegations of fraud, data matches, pro-active fraud drives and pre-investigation. You will deal with different Council departments and partner organisations. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Environmental Health Technician to join the Environmental Protection Team.</p><p>As the successful post holder working within a small team, you will undertake a wide range of duties across the service including responding to and investigating reports relating to noise, dust, odour, light and other public health nuisances, using a range of advice and enforcement options to secure improvements.&nbsp;</p><p>Experience of dealing with the public is an essential requirement of this post, but prior knowledge of environmental protection matters is not essential as the appointee will be supported to develop their knowledge in this area.&nbsp;</p><p>Good administrative skills and an ability to communicate effectively with the public are essential requirements. Suitable candidates must also be able to plan, organise and manage their own workloads, use time effectively and work with the minimum of supervision.&nbsp;</p><p>You will be based in the City centre but expected to travel widely across the City.
