            <p id="isPasted"><strong>HGV Waste Collection Driver&nbsp;<br>Permanent, Full time &ndash; 37 hours per week&nbsp;<br>Salary - <strong id="isPasted">&pound;26, 824 - &pound;28,142&nbsp;</strong> per annum (with a &pound;1881.96 per annum Market Supplement)</strong><br><br>We are seeking a hardworking, intelligent and reliable waste collection drivers to be part of a pool of staff to cover all aspects of refuse collection and recycling duties, including skip wagon driving.</p><p>The successful applicant should be conscientious, flexible, trustworthy, have good communication skills and show high levels of productivity.&nbsp;</p><p>They must be able to lead a small team in a mature and effective manner. Training will be provided to upgrade driving licences should it be required. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Environmental Health Technician to join the Environmental Protection Team.</p><p>As the successful post holder working within a small team, you will undertake a wide range of duties across the service including responding to and investigating reports relating to noise, dust, odour, light and other public health nuisances, using a range of advice and enforcement options to secure improvements.&nbsp;</p><p>Experience of dealing with the public is an essential requirement of this post, but prior knowledge of environmental protection matters is not essential as the appointee will be supported to develop their knowledge in this area.&nbsp;</p><p>Good administrative skills and an ability to communicate effectively with the public are essential requirements.
