            <p id="isPasted">We are looking for a Environmental Health Technician to join our busy and forward-looking Commercial Regulatory Services Team.&nbsp;</p><p>Applicants will also be considered from those with relevant regulatory skills and/or associated relevant experience, such as a food hygiene and/or health and safety background.</p><p>The post offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience dealing with a wide range of environmental health duties, including traditional Food and H&amp;S roles, animal activities licensing, private water supplies work, the application of smokefree legislation and other relevant tasks as the need arises.</p><p>The contracted hours are 37 per week and this will include some evening and occasional weekend duties.</p><p>Ideally you will have recent experience in relation to the role. &nbsp;However, the team includes 2 EHP apprentices set to commence the final year of their degree, and 2 newly appointed technicians, so we are well placed to support the right candidate to undertake further training.</p><p>If you have the skills to educate and to effectively communicate legal requirements, the character to take firm enforcement action, a commitment to delivering a quality service and would like to join a supportive environment to develop your career, then we would like to hear from you.</p><p>As an employer we like to thank our employees for their hard work and commitment by giving them the opportunity to access a range of employee benefits including flexi time, hybrid working, a minimum of 25 days&rsquo; annual leave (plus Bank Holidays), family friendly policies, access to an Employee Assistance Programme, Local Government Pension Scheme, AVC&rsquo;s, life assurance scheme, discounted parking, bus and rail fares and a cycle to work scheme.</p><p>For an informal discussion please contact: Simon Neighbour on 01772 906160&nbsp;</p>
