Holiday Activities and Food Officer

Holiday Activity and Food. We are looking to recruit a Holiday Activity and Food Officer to a position available within the Community Engagement team, located in the Town Hall in Preston. 

Preston City Council are committed to providing opportunities for children to access high quality Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) provision. The post-holder will work closely with Lancashire County Council to manage and administer the successful delivery of the Holiday Activities and Food programme (HAF) provision in Preston through a competitive grants process. Working with community and voluntary groups and organisations, the post-holder will offer support and guidance to HAF providers for the delivery of HAF and other health initiatives in Preston. 

We are seeking a well-organised, enthusiastic individual who has excellent problem-solving skills and has experience of managing a competitive grants process. The ideal candidate will have good reporting and presentation skills and thrive on developing relationships with multiple stakeholders. A basic knowledge of IT is advantageous for this role to effectively monitor and upload evaluation data to a central management system.
