Development Directorate. Preston City Council is part of the Preston, South Ribble and Lancashire City Deal. Work has already started on a £430 million 10 year investment programme to grow the local economy by £1 billion, creating over 20,000 new jobs and building over 17,000 new homes. 

We are investing in our Planning service and are seeking an enthusiastic and well organised individual to take up this role within the Planning Policy team. 

You will, working alongside the S106 and CIL Monitoring Officer, secure and maintain accurate and up to date records with regards Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) receipts from developments taking place across the City. 

It is essential that applicants possess a willingness to acquire technical and/or legal knowledge, particularly relating to CIL regulations and the planning system. 

You will also need to be able to work productively within a team environment, act on your own initiative, possess good computer/keyboard skills and have the ability to work to deadlines.
