Operational Property. We are looking to recruit an experienced Technical Officer (Electrical Services) with previous supervisory experience to join our Operational Property Team.
The main duties of the post holder will be to provide technical support to the Operational Property Division with specific responsibility for organising & coordinating the maintenance, repair & minor works required to all Council property & assets, including listed property such as the Harris Building, Town Hall & the Cenotaph, together with miscellaneous Parks Pavilions & Depots, and to provide an efficient and effective, customer-focussed service, in accordance with the Council’s Aims and Objectives.
We are looking for someone who is appropriately qualified with and has successfully undertaken an examination on the current edition of the electrical regulations published by the NICEIC under British Standard 7671(currently 18th Edition).
The post holder will have the ability to work as part of a team and show the necessary enthusiasm required to fulfil this role to its optimum. Excellent communication skills are required along with the ability to exercise your own initiative and the ability to influence decision making.
This is an exciting opportunity in a much-varied role. We are looking for a fast thinking and experienced individual who will be a significant member of our Operational Property Team.
